GREYHOUNDS DROP TO SIXTH IN SECOND NCAA DIVISION III
REGIONAL RANKING OF 2005-06 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has dropped to
sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the second NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released
late Wednesday.
The Greyhounds, who are 19-5 overall and 10-3 in Commonwealth Conference action, were
17-5 in regional action, the main basis for the rankings. Moravian has played several regionally
ranked teams this season, falling to #1 University of Scranton, 67-62, and #3 Muhlenberg
College, 66-59. The Greyhounds did defeat #2 Messiah College, 67-63, and Moravian also
lost to Messiah, 69-55.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, February 18th in a Commonwealth Conference
game versus Elizabethtown College tipping off at 2:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
