MORAVIAN’S HESS NAMED COMMONWEALTH
CONFERENCE MEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE,
PA --- Junior midfielder Ryan Hess (Harleysville, PA/Souderton
HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has
been named the Commonwealth Conference Men’s Soccer Player
of the Week for his performance last week.
Hess helped the Greyhounds to a 0-1-1 at the
Stevens Institute of Technology College Classic. Hess
had an assist on Moravian’s first goal of the season in a
3-2, overtime loss to the nationally-ranked host Ducks. Hess
then scored the only goal in the match with just 1:07 remaining
in regulation to tie the match in an eventual 1-1, double-overtime
tie with Roanoke (VA) College.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, September 9th
in a non-conference match at rival Muhlenberg College beginning
at 1:00 p.m.
