MORAVIAN’S ADAMS NAMED COMMONWEALTH
CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE,
PA --- Senior midfielder/forward Kristina Adams (Belle Mead,
NJ/Montgomery HS) of the Moravian College women’s
soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Conference Women’s
Soccer Player of the Week for her performance last week.
Adams helped the Greyhounds to a 2-1 record last
week to begin the season. Adams had two goals including the game-winner
in Moravian’s season opening, 3-2 win over Drew University.
Adams was held scoreless as the Greyhounds defeated
Dickinson College, 3-0, in a rematch of last fall’s NCAA Division
III Tournament Second Round game that the Red Devils won 1-0. Adams
finished the week with Moravian’s only goal in a 2-1 overtime
loss at Ursinus College.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Thursday, September 14th
in a non-conference match at the University of Scranton beginning
at 7:00 p.m.
