THREE MORAVIAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS RANKED
IN NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College football team has three student-athletes
ranked in the NCAA Division III statistical rankings through games
of October 14th, and the Greyhounds are ranked in the top 50 in
one team category.
Sophomore
kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, PA/Somerville HS),
pictured at right, is tied for 14th in field goals per game at 1.20.
Sophomore linebacker Andrew Morrissey (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus
HS), pictured at left, is tied for fourth
in the country in forced fumbles per game at 0.60 while senior linebacker
Cliff Garr (Easton, PA/Notre Dame HS), pictured
at bottom right, is tied for 40th 0.33 forced fumbles
per contest.
Moravian is 48th in the country in kickoff returns with an average
of 22.13 yards per return.
The
Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 21st in a
Middle Atlantic Conference game at Wilkes University. Kickoff is
slated for 1:00 p.m. at Ralston Field in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania.
