MORAVIAN’S CORRIGAN NAMED COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER GOALIE OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Conference Women’s Soccer Goalie of the Week for her performance last week.

Corrigan posted a pair of shutouts in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. Corrigan had two saves in a 2-0 shutout of Lebanon Valley College in Commonwealth Conference action, her fourth shutout of the season. She then had seven saves in a 3-0 win at Villa Julie College to close out the week. Five of Corrigan’s seven wins in goal this season are by shutout.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Wednesday, October 25th a non-conference match at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Allentown.
