MORAVIAN’S JACQUI GRANDE & SAVANNAH BAYER RANKED IN NCAA FIELD HOCKEY STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College junior defender Jacqui Grande (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional HS) and junior forward Savannah Bayer (Newton, NJ/Newton HS) are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III Field Hockey statistics released Wednesday.

Grande, pictured at right, is tied for seventh in the nation in penalty strokes at 2.0, and Grande has connected on both of her penalty stroke attempts this season. Bayer, pictued below, is tied 24th in the country at 1.0 on penalty strokes, and she is one-for-three on penalty stroke opportunities.

Moravian is 27th in the nation in saves per game with an average of 10.06.

The Greyhounds, 3-15 overall, will close out their 2006 season with a non-conference match on Thursday, October 26th versus Gwynedd-Mercy College beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Betty Prince Field.
