MORAVIAN’S McCAMBRIDGE & WILLIAMS
EARN MAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
ANNVILLE,
PA --- Sophomore running back Tyler McCambridge (Northampton,
PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) of the Moravian College
football team has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Offensive
Player of the Week while freshman linebacker Jayson Williams

Player of the Week accolades for their performances in the Greyhounds’
22-3 victory over Lycoming College Saturday.
McCambridge, pictured at right, ran for 163 yards
and two touchdowns on 33 carries, and he threw a four-yard touchdown
pass on his first career pass attempt in the victory. McCambridge
got Moravian on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a six-yard
touchdown run that capped a 14-play, 76-yard drive that was all
on the ground. McCambridge had ten carries for
63 yards on the drive. McCambridge would score again in the third
quarter on a 15-yard run to cap a nine-play, 65 yard drive that
he had seven carries for 28 yards on. McCambridge
finished off the Greyhounds’ scoring in the game with a four-yard
touchdown pass to junior tight end Kris Bisci (Easton, PA/Easton
HS) on a third-and-goal play. This was the second straight
home game and second time in three week’s that McCambridge
had carried the ball 33 times for more than 160 yards in a home
game with a career high 166 yards against FDU-Florham two weeks
ago at Rocco Calvo Field.
Williams,
