THREE GREYHOUNDS RANKED IN NCAA FIELD HOCKEY
STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College field hockey team has three players
ranked in the latest NCAA Division III statistics released Wednesday,
and the Greyhounds are ranked in one team category.
Junior
defender Jacqui Grande (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills Regional
HS), pictured at right, is tied for 11th
in the nation in penalty strokes at 2.0, and Grande
connected on both of her penalty stroke attempts this season. Junior
forward Savannah Bayer (Newton, NJ/Newton HS),
pictued at left, is tied 26th in the country at
1.0 on penalty strokes, and she was one-for-three on penalty stroke
opportunities.
Senior goalie Amanda Gaun (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham
HS), pictured bottom right, is ranked 23rd in saves per
game with an average of 9.5.
Moravian
is 27th in the nation in saves per game with an average of 9.95.
The Greyhounds completed its 2006 season with an overall record
of 4-15.
