MORAVIAN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM, ONE PLAYER RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team is ranked one category in the tenth NCAA III Division women’s basketball statistical ranking released Tuesday, and the Greyhounds have one player ranked. The statistics include games through March 4th.

Freshman guard Jessica Foran (Annandale, NJ/Rutgers Prep HS) is 27th in the nation in free throw percentage, connecting on 84.9 percent (90 of 106) of her free throw attempts.

The Greyhounds are fourth in the nation in free throw percentage at 75.7 percent (538 of 711), and the squad is first in free throws made and attempted of the 50 ranked teams.

Moravian is 19-11 on the season and completed the season last Saturday by winning the 2007 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division III Southern Championship with an 86-64 victory over King’s College. The Greyhounds were 9-5 in their final season in the Commonwealth Conference.
