MORAVIAN MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM & JUNIOR MARK FRANZYSHEN RANKED IN FINAL NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team is ranked in two team categories and one player is ranked in the final 2007 NCAA III Division men’s basketball statistical ranking released Tuesday.

Junior forward Mark Franzyshen (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata HS), pictured at right, finished the season 60th in the nation in free throw percentage at 83.8 percent after making 119 of 142 free throw attempts this past season.

The Greyhounds were tenth in the country in free throw percentage at 76.6 percent (442 of 577) and the team was 59th in steals per game with an average of 9.4.

Moravian completed its 2006-07 season with an 11-14 overall record and a 10-14 mark in its final Commonwealth Conference season.
