MORAVIAN MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM & SENIOR T.J. HIRSCH RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked in one team category and one player is ranked in the second 2007 NCAA III Division men’s lacrosse statistical ranking released Wednesday.

Senior midfielder T.J. Hirsch (Putnum Valley, NY/Walter Panas HS) leads the nation in ground balls per game with an average of 11.17, and Hirsch is currently ranked 22nd in the nation in face-off winning percentage having won 63.9 percent (78 of 122) face-offs this season.

The Greyhounds are 24th in face-off winning percentage at 59.0 percent (85 of 144).

Moravian is 0-7 on the season and is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 31st in a Middle Atlantic Conference match versus Lycoming College beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
