MORAVIAN MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM &
SENIOR T.J. HIRSCH RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked
in one team category and one player is ranked in the third 2007
NCAA III Division men’s lacrosse statistical ranking released
Tuesday.
Senior midfielder T.J. Hirsch (Putnum Valley, NY/Walter
Panas HS) leads the nation in ground balls per game with
an average of 9.20, and Hirsch is currently ranked
26th in the nation in face-off winning percentage having won 62.1
percent (113 of 182) face-offs this season.
The Greyhounds are 26th in face-off winning percentage at 58.2
percent (124 of 213).
Moravian is 1-9 on the season and is scheduled to return to action
on Wednesday, April 11th in a Middle Atlantic Conference match versus
Widener University beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
