MORAVIAN MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM &
SENIOR T.J. HIRSCH RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked
in one team category and one player is ranked in the fourth 2007
NCAA III Division men’s lacrosse statistical ranking released
Tuesday.
Senior midfielder T.J. Hirsch (Putnum Valley, NY/Walter
Panas HS) is fourth the nation in ground balls per game
with an average of 9.08, and Hirsch is currently
ranked 31st in the nation in face-off winning percentage having
won 59.8 percent (128 of 214) face-offs this season. Hirsch
has a school record 109 ground balls this season in 12 matches.
The Greyhounds are 31st in face-off winning percentage at 56.9
percent (141 of 248).
Moravian is 2-11 on the season and is scheduled to return to action
on Saturday, April 21st in a Middle Atlantic Conference match at
Elizabethtown College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
