MORAVIAN MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM &
SENIOR T.J. HIRSCH RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College men’s lacrosse team is ranked
in one team category and one player is ranked in the fifth 2007
NCAA III Division men’s lacrosse statistical ranking released
Tuesday.
Senior midfielder T.J. Hirsch (Putnum Valley, NY/Walter
Panas HS) is fifth the nation in ground balls per game
with an average of 8.86, and Hirsch is currently
ranked 40th in the nation in face-off winning percentage having
won 57.0 percent (139 of 244) face-offs this season. Hirsch
has a school record 124 ground balls this season in 14 matches.
The Greyhounds are 45th in face-off winning percentage at 53.4
percent (158 of 296).
Moravian is 2-12 on the season and is scheduled to return to action
on Wednesday, April 25th in a non-conference match at Goucher College
beginning at 4:30 p.m.
