SENIOR PETE MOORE RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III BASEBALL STATISTICS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College baseball team has one player ranked in the third 2007 NCAA Division III baseball statistical ranking released Wednesday.

Senior shortstop Pete Moore (Bogota, NJ/Bogota HS) is listed 29th in the nation in slugging percentage with a .730 slugging percentage this spring, and he is tied for 50th in home runs with six. Moore, who is hitting .413 with a single season school record of 50 hits in 121 at-bats, has ten doubles, four triples and six home runs for 86 total bases in 32 games this season.

Moravian is 13-19 on the season and 7-11 in Commonwealth Conference action. The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, April 25th in a non-conference game versus Arcadia University at Gillespie Field in Bethlehem beginning at 4:00 p.m.
