MORAVIAN’S MARK FRANZYSHEN NAMED TO COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE MEN’S BASKETBALL WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- Junior forward Mark Franzyshen (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata HS) of the Moravian College men’s basketball team has been named to the Commonwealth Conference men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for his performance last week.

Franzyshen led the Greyhounds in their only game last week, a 96-91 loss to Kean University of New Jersey. Franzyshen had 20 points while shooting five of ten from the floor and ten of 12 at the foul line, and he added seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Moravian, which is 4-6 overall and 0-2 in Commonwealth Conference action this season, will return to the court on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 in a non-conference game at rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 7:00 p.m.
