MORAVIAN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM, ONE PLAYER RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team is ranked two categories in the second NCAA III Division women’s basketball statistical ranking released Wednesday, and the Greyhounds have one player ranked. The statistics include games through January 7th.

Freshman guard Jessica Foran (Annandale, NJ/Rutgers Prep HS), pictured at right, is ranked 27th in the nation in free throw percentage, connecting on 86.0 percent (37 of 43) of her free throw attempts.

The Greyhounds are 14th in the nation in free throw percentage at 74.2 percent (216 of 291), and Moravian is 19th in the country in steals per game with an average of 14.4.

Moravian is 7-5 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday, January 10th in a Commonwealth Conference game versus Lebanon Valley College tipping off at 8:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
