MORAVIAN’S JENNY HACKLEMAN NAMED
TO COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
ANNVILLE,
PA --- Senior forward Jenny Hackleman (Arroyo Grande, CA/Rutgers
Prep {NJ} HS) of the Moravian College women’s basketball
team has been named to the Commonwealth Conference Women’s
Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for her performance last week.
Hackleman helped Moravian post a 1-1 mark last
week in Commonwealth Conference action. Hackleman
grabbed a team high ten rebounds to go with eight points, three
assists and two blocked shots in a 72-57 loss at Albright College.
Hackleman then had a perfect shooting day in a
66-48 win over Elizabethtown College. She was five of five from
the floor and four of four at the foul line for 14 points, and Hackleman
added three rebounds, two assists and two steals in the victory.
Hackleman, who was also on the Commonwealth Conference
women’s basketball Weekly Honor Roll on December 11th, is
sixth in school history with 676 career rebounds and is now just
eight points shy of becoming the school’s 18th 1,000-point
scorer.
Moravian, which is 10-6 overall and 4-2 in Commonwealth Conference
action this season, will return to the court on Wednesday, January
24th in a Commonwealth Conference game at nationally ranked Messiah
College beginning at 6:00 p.m.
