MORAVIAN MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM, ONE
PLAYER RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team is ranked
one team category, and the Greyhounds have one player ranked in
the fourth NCAA III Division men’s basketball statistical
ranking released Tuesday. The statistics include games through January
21st.
Junior forward Mark Franzyshen (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata
HS) is ranked 37th in the nation in free throw percentage,
connecting on 85.6 percent (89 of 104) of his free throw attempts.
Franzyshen is just one of three players ranked
in the top 50 to have attempted at least 100 free throws so far
this season.
The Greyhounds are sixth in the country in free throw percentage
at 78.1 percent (313 of 401).
Moravian is 10-7 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday,
January 24th in a Commonwealth Conference game at Messiah College
at 8:00 p.m. in Grantham.
