MORAVIAN MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM, ONE
PLAYER RANKED IN LATEST NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS,
IN --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team is ranked
one team category, and the Greyhounds have one player ranked in
the sixth NCAA III Division men’s basketball statistical ranking
released Tuesday. The statistics include games through February
4th.
Junior forward Mark Franzyshen (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata
HS) is ranked 50th in the nation in free throw percentage,
connecting on 85.0 percent (96 of 113) of his free throw attempts.
Franzyshen is just one of 12 players ranked in
the top 50 to have attempted at least 100 free throws so far this
season.
The Greyhounds are seventh in the country in free throw percentage
at 77.6 percent (360 of 464).
Moravian is 10-9 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday,
February 7th in a Commonwealth Conference game at Lebanon Valley
College at 8:00 p.m. in Annville.
