PHILADELPHIA FORCE COMPLETE COACHING STAFF;
Moravian's John Byrne to Serve as Associate Head Coach
PHILADELPHIA,
PA- The Philadelphia Force have announced two more coaches for the
upcoming 2007 National Pro Fastpitch league season. John
Byrne, currently head coach at Moravian College has been
named associate head coach and Jennifer Teague, currently assistant
head coach for Eastern Michigan University, has been named assistant
head coach of the Force. They will join associate head coach Ashley
Moore, who was named to that position earlier in the week.
These moves were announced by Owner/General Manager Tom Kleinman
and Assistant General Manager Erin Statmore.

Regionals, has spent the last 13 seasons at Moravian.
He has compiled a 407-134 record with the Division III NCAA school.
Last season, he led his team a 37-9 record and a visit to the NCAA
National Championship Tournament for the ninth time. Byrne is also
currently the assistant athletic director at Moravian. During his
baseball player years at Moravian, he was a four-year starter and
has worked as an associated scout for the Cincinnati Reds.
Teague is in her second year at EMU. Her primary focus is on pitching.
She spent the 2004-2005 season as a volunteer assistant at the University
of Michigan, who went on to win the Women’s College World
Series. Prior to being at Michigan, she was the head coach at NAIA
Concordia University which she led to one regional championship
and an appearance in the 2002 NAIA National Championships.
