MORAVIAN’S CAITLIN CORRIGAN NAMED
LANDMARK CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MADISON,
NJ --- Junior goalie Caitlin Corrigan (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge
HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has
been named the inaugural Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer
Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.
Corrigan registered the 16th shutout of her career
in Moravian's season opening 1-0 win at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
Corrigan turned away 12 shots in the victory, tying
her career high set in 2005 against Messiah College. It is the third
time Corrigan has registered 12 saves in a match.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September
5th in a non-conference match at Dickinson College beginning at
5:00 p.m.
