MORAVIAN’S KAYLA TEELING NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Junior Kayla Teeling (Milford, NJ/Phillipsburg HS) of the Moravian College women’s cross country team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance last week.

Teeling helped the Greyhounds to a first place finish of nine teams at the Cougar Classic hosted by Misericordia University.  Moravian had 68 points, finishing 29 points ahead of runner-up and Landmark Conference rival The University of Scranton.  Teeling posted a time of 19:39 on the 5,000-meter course to finish second individually of the 83 runners.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, September 28th at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University on the Goodman Campus in Bethlehem.
