MORAVIAN’S CHRIS NEDEROSTEK HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Junior goalie Chris Nederostek (Lansdale, PA/Christopher Dock HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Nederostek posted a 1-1 record in goal last week for Moravian including a 1-0 shutout of Goucher College for the Greyhounds' first Landmark Conference win of the season.  Nederostek had four saves in 73 minutes of action in a 3-0 non-conference loss to Elizabethtown College, and then had four more saves in his shutout of Goucher.  The shutout was Nederostek's first of the season.

Moravian, which has an overall record of 4-8, is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, October 9th in a non-conference match at Philadelphia Biblical University beginning at 4:00 p.m.
