MORAVIAN’S KATIE WISE NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENDER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore defender Katie Wise (Ardsley, PA/Abington HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Defender of the Week for her performance last week.

Wise helped the Moravian defense allow just three goals in a 19-3 season opening win over Cedar Crest College.  Wise had two ground balls and a caused turnover while attempting a shot late in the match as Moravian moved some of its defensive players to offense.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, March 12th in a non-conference match versus rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
