MORAVIAN’S COURTNEY ROSENBERG NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENDER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Defender of the Week for her performance last week.

Rosenberg played all 180 minutes in goal last week for the Greyhounds in a 1-2 week.  She had a 14.67 goals-against average, 40 saves and ten ground balls last week.  Rosenberg had nine saves and three ground balls in a 20-5 loss to Muhlenberg College.  She then had a career high 18 saves and four ground balls in a 15-9 victory over Bryn Mawr College.  Rosenberg finished the week with 13 saves and three ground balls in a 15-4 loss to Swarthmore College to end the week.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, March 18th in a non-conference match versus NCAA Division II Chestnut Hill College beginning at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
