SENIOR ERICA SPATZ & SOPHOMORE COURTNEY ROSENBERG RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III
WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior midfielder Erica Spatz (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken HS) and sophomore goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team are  ranked in the seventh NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2008 season including games through April 27th.

Spatz, pictured at right. is tied for 13th in the nation with 4.13 goals per game.  She contributed 62 goals in 15 matches this season for the Greyhounds. Spatz is also tied for 28th in the nation for points per game, with 5.12, tied for 29th for total point with 77, 30th in the country in ground balls at 3.8 per game and finally Spatz is ranked 28th in the nation for draw controls with 3.80 per game.

Rosenberg, pictured at left, is seventh in the nation in saves with 196 saves and 18th for save per game with an averaged of 12.0 saves per contest this season. Rosenberg, who is in her first season with the Greyhounds and started all 16 matches for the team, had a 13.62 goals-against average.

The Greyhounds, who completed their best season in the six-year history of the program with a 9-7 overall record, the first winning season in school history, and 0-5 in Landmark Conference action this season, are ranked 26th in ground balls with 24.13 per game.
