MORAVIAN’S CHRIS EARLEY HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior forward Chris Earley (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan HS) of the Moravian College men’s basketball team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Earley led Moravian to a 2-0 record last week including a 96-85 victory at The University of Scranton in the Greyhounds' inaugural Landmark Conference game.  Earley averaged 20.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game during the week and added seven assists, two steals and a blocked shot with just four turnovers while averaging 34.5 minutes per game. 

Earley had 13 points, four rebounds and three assists to help the Greyhounds rally to a 77-70 non-conference win at Kean University.  He then has his first career double-double with 27 points and ten rebounds in the victory at Kean.  For the week, Earley connected on 13 of 18 field goals (72.2 percent), four of seven three-pointers (57.1 percent) and ten of 13 free throws (76.9 percent).

Moravian, 3-2 overall and 1-0 in Landmark Conference action, will return to the court on Tuesday, December 4th in a non-conference game at FDU-Florham tipping off at 7:00 p.m.
