MORAVIAN SENIOR KRIS BISCI HELPS USA TO A 37-19 WIN IN 2007 AZTEC BOWL

CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO --- Moravian College senior tight end Kris Bisci (Easton, PA/Easton HS) caught a pair of passes including an eight-yard touchdown in the second quarter to put the United States Team in the lead for good in a 37-19 victory versus the Mexican National Team at the 2007 Aztec Bowl on Saturday, December 8th.

Bisci, who was one of the 50 NCAA Division III players on the USA roster for the 2007 Aztec Bowl, had a total of 13 yards in the game, catching a five yard pass on the second play of the game and then his touchdown pass from Jemar Jackson of Mississippi College with 13:27 remaining in the second quarter to give the USA a 10-7 season. Bisci's touchdown pass capped a four-play, 23-yard drive after the USA recovered a fumble and was the first of three scores for the USA in the second quarter as the squad headed to halftime with a 23-7 lead. Bisci is the third Moravian player to play in the Aztec Bowl, the traditional year-end game to the Mexican football season. This marked the 11th straight year a team of NCAA Division III players has traveled to Mexico to play the Mexican National Team, and the USA is 10-1 in those games. Jarrod Pence was the first Greyhound to play in 2002 while Kevin Lukich participated in the game in 2005.
