GREYHOUNDS RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College men’s basketball team is ranked in three categories in the second NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season for games through January 6th.

The Greyhounds are tied for 29th in win-loss percentage at 83.3 percent with ten wins in 12 contests so far this season.  Moravian is ranked 37th in free throw percentage this season at 74.2 percent, making 207 of 279 free throw attempts, and the Greyhounds are 44th  in three-point field goal percentage at 39.4 percent having connected on 100 of 254 three-point attempts.

The Greyhounds, who are 10-2 overall and 1-0 in Landmark Conference action, will put their nine-game winning streak back on the court on Friday, January 11th in a Landmark Conference game at Juniata College tipping off at 7:30 p.m. in Huntingdon.  Moravian’s nine-game winning streak is the longest since the 1975-76 season.
