ALYSSA BISCI, KIRSTY STEARNS & MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore forwards Alyssa Bisci (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and Kirsty Stearns (East Norwich, NY/Oyster Bay HS) along with the Moravian College women’s basketball team are ranked in free throw percentage in the fourth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season including games through January 20th.

Bisci, pictured at right, is currently ranked fifth in the county in free throw percentage at 90.7 percent, and she has made 49 of 54 free throws in 12 games this season.  Stearns, pictured at left, is 13th in the nation at 88.7 percent for the season.  Stearns is 47 of 53 at the line in 16 games.

Moravian is ranked 12th in free throw percentage this season at 75.7 percent, making 294 of 391 free throw attempts.

The Greyhounds, who are 11-5 overall and 4-1 in Landmark Conference action, will return to the court on Saturday, January 26th in a Landmark Conference game at Drew University tipping off at 5:30 p.m. in Madison, New Jersey.
