ALYSSA BISCI, KIRSTY STEARNS & MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore forwards Alyssa Bisci (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and Kirsty Stearns (East Norwich, NY/Oyster Bay HS) along with the Moravian College women’s basketball team are ranked in free throw percentage in the fifth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season including games through January 27th.

Bisci, pictured at right, is currently ranked sixth in the county in free throw percentage at 90.5 percent, and she has made 57 of 63 free throws in 14 games this season.  Stearns is 11th in the nation at 88.3 percent for the season.  Stearns, pictured below, is 53 of 60 at the line in 18 games.

Moravian is ranked eighth in free throw percentage this season at 75.5 percent, making 320 of 424 free throw attempts.  The Greyhounds have made 21 more free throws than their opponents have attempted this season.

The Greyhounds, who are 12-6 overall and 5-2 in Landmark Conference action, will return to the court on Friday, February 1st in a Landmark Conference game versus Susquehanna University tipping off at 5:30 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
