RYAN MILLER, MORAVIAN TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III MEN’S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Senior guard Ryan Miller (Easton, PA/Easton HS) and the Moravian College men’s basketball team are ranked in the ninth NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2007-08 season for games through February 24th.

Miller is second in the nation in free throw percentage at 93.9 percent for the season, having made 62 of 66 at the line in 23 games.  Miller, who missed two games this season with an injury, is also 28th in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 43.3 percent, and he is 50th in three-pointers per game at 2.8.  He has connected on 65 of 150 three-pointers this season, and Miller’s 156 career three-pointers have broken the previous school record of 150. 

The Greyhounds are eighth in free throw percentage this season at 77.0 percent, making 419 of 544 free throw attempts, and Moravian is 43rd in three-point field goal percentage at 38.8 percent having connected on 196 of 505 three-point attempts. 

The Greyhounds, who are 18-7 overall and 9-5 in Landmark Conference action, will host The University of Scranton on Wednesday, February 27th in a Landmark Conference Semifinal game.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall with Moravian the second seed and the Royals seeded third.
