MORAVIAN’S MAURA ACOX RANKED IN NCAA FIELD HOCKEY STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College sophomore goalie Maura Acox (Old Bridge, NJ/St. John Vianney HS) is ranked in the first NCAA Division III Field Hockey statistics release of the 2008 season released Wednesday.

Acox is tied for 20th in the nation in saves per game with 11.0, and she is tied for 34th in save percentage at .846 with 33 saves in 39 shots faces in three matches.

Moravian is tied for 26th in the country in saves per game at 11.0 per contest.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, September 13th in a non-conference match versus Elizabethtown College on Betty Prince Field beginning at 1:00 p.m.
