MORAVIAN’S HAILEY NEFF NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Freshman Hailey Neff (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton HS) of the Moravian College women’s cross country team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance last week.

Neff helped Moravian to a tie for 19th place of 37 schools in the white division race of the 35th Annual Brooks Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.  Neff was 68th of 260 runners in the white division with a time of 23:49 on the 6,000-meter course.  The time was Neff's best of the season as well as Moravian's top time of the year at 6,000 meters.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 11th at the Juniata Eagle Invitational at Ft. Roberdeau Historic Site in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
