MORAVIAN’S CONNOR SKUTCHES NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore Connor Skutches (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS) of the Moravian College men’s cross country team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance last week.

Skutches helped Moravian to a 19th place finish of 41 schools at the 35th Annual Brooks Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.  Skutches paced Moravian with a time of 26:49 on the 8,000-meter course to place 33rd of the 270 runners in the white division race. The time was Skutches top time as well as the Greyhounds’ best time of the season.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 11th at the Juniata Eagle Invitational at Ft. Roberdeau Historic Site in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
