SEVEN MORAVIAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College football team has seven student-athletes ranked in the sixth NCAA Division III statistical rankings of 2008 through games of October 12th, and the Greyhounds are ranked in the top 50 in three team categories.

Senior running back Tyler McCambridge (Northampton, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is 49th in rushing with 101.0 yards per game, tied for 51st in scoring at 9.0 points per contest and 21st in all-purpose yardage at 165.5 yards per game.

Senior kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for eighth in the country in field goals per game at 1.33 while senior punter Michael Voskian (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan HS) is 66th in punting at 37.4 yards per punt.. 

Senior defensive lineman Doug Bocchino (Madison, NJ/Madison HS) is tied for 31st in sacks with 0.92 per game while senior quarterback Marc Braxmeier (Center Valley, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is 61st in passing efficiency with a 133.90 rating.  Senior defensive back Carl Robinson (Boothwyn, PA/Garnet Valley HS) and sophomore defensive

Moravian is 27th in the nation in rushing offense at 220.5 yards per game, and the team is 33rd in turnover margin at +1.33 per game.  The Greyhounds are also 47th in pass efficiency defense at 102.85.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 18th in a Centennial Conference game versus Franklin & Marshall College.  Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as Moravian celebrates its annual Homecoming.
