MORAVIAN’S CHRIS NEDEROSTEK HONORED AS ECAC DIVISION III SOUTH
MEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CAPE COD, MA --- Senior goalie Chris Nederostek (Lansdale, PA/Christopher Dock HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Nederostek, who was also named the Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week, posted a 0.49 goals-against average with 12 saves and a shutout in 181:56 minutes of action in a 1-1 week in Landmark Conference action for Moravian.  He allowed a goal and made four saves in a 1-0 loss to The University of Scranton to begin the week.  Nederostek then had his third shutout of the season with eight saves as Moravian defeated The Catholic University of America, 1-0 in overtime, for the Greyhounds' first conference win of the season.

Moravian, which is 6-8-2 overall, is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, November 1st in the teams’ season finale, a Landmark Conference match at Drew University beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Madison, New Jersey.
