MORAVIAN’S CAITLIN CORRIGAN HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior goalie Caitlin Corrigan (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) of the Moravian College women’s soccer team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Corrigan completed the 2008 regular season with her sixth shutout of the season in the Greyhounds' 2-0 victory over Drew University to clinch the top seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament.  She made three saves for her 12th win of the year in the team's only action of the week.  Corrigan now has 49 career wins and 32 career shutouts, both school records.

Moravian, which is 12-5-2 overall, is scheduled to host fourth seeded Juniata College in a Landmark Conference Semifinal on Wednesday, November 5th at 2:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad in Bethlehem.
