SIX MORAVIAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS RANKED IN LATEST NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College football team has six student-athletes ranked in the 11th NCAA Division III statistical rankings of 2008 through games of November 16th, and the Greyhounds are ranked in the top 50 in five team categories.

Senior running back Tyler McCambridge (Northampton, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is 44th in rushing with 101.50 yards per game, tied for 77th in scoring at 7.50 points per contest and 30th in all-purpose yardage at 151.25yards per game.

Senior kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for sixth in the country in field goals per game at 1.30 while senior punter Michael Voskian (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan HS) is 32nd in punting at 38.74 yards per punt. 

Senior defensive lineman Doug Bocchino (Madison, NJ/Madison HS) is tied for 23rd in sacks with 0.85 per game while sophomore wide receiver Alex Hersch (Macungie, PA/Emmaus HS) is tied for 93rd in punt returns with an average of 7.47 yards per return. 

Senior defensive back Carl Robinson (Boothwyn, PA/Garnet Valley HS) is tied for 42nd in the nation in interceptions at 0.50 per game.

Moravian is 36th in the nation in rushing offense at 203.40 yards per game, and the team is 15th in turnover margin at +1.30 per game, 36th in pass efficiency defense with a 99.98 rating, 44th in scoring defense at 17.50 points allowed per game and 40th in sacks at 2.40 per game.

The Greyhounds will close out the 2008 season by hosting Salisbury University in the 2008 ECAC Division III Southwest Bowl on Saturday, November 22nd with kickoff slated for 12:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
