MORAVIAN’S YOUNG NAMED TO MEN’S BASKETBALL LANDMARK ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore guard Maurice Young (Philadelphia, PA/Chestnut Hill Academy) of the Moravian College men’s basketball team has been named to the 2009 Landmark All-Conference Second Team released by the conference office Tuesday.

Moravian posted a 10-15 record this season including a 5-9 mark during the Landmark Conference regular season.

Young was second on the team in scoring this winter with an average of 11.3 points per game while playing in 23 contests.  Young also contributed 68 rebounds, 35 assists, a team high 34 steals, 19 three-pointers and eight blocked shots while leading the Greyhounds in minutes played per game at 30.4.
