MORAVIAN’S COURTNEY ROSENBERG NAMED LANDMARK CONFERENCE
WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Junior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Rosenberg helped Moravian earn its first two wins of the season with two strong games in goal. In a win over Division II Chestnut Hill College, she stopped nine shots and recorded eight ground balls to help the Greyhounds to the 15-14 overtime victory. Rosenberg then made 12 saves with another four ground balls in a 16-8 win over King’s College. She posted a 10.48 goals against average for the week.

Moravian will return to action on Monday, March 23rd in a non-conference match versus Wilkes University on the HUB Quad beginning at 4:00 p.m.
