TWO GREYHOUNDS, TEAM RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Two members of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse and the Greyhound team is ranked in the third NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2009 season including games through March 29th.

Junior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) is tied for seventh in the nation in saves with 101, and Rosenberg, pictured at right, is 47th in saves per game with 11.0.  She has posted 101 saves in nine matches this season.

Sophomore midfielder Sarah Carman (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) is tied for 16th in the nation with an average of 4.56 ground balls per game.  Carman , pictured at left, has 41 ground balls in nine matches.

Moravian is ranked 24th in nation in ground balls per game at 25.11 with 226 ground balls in nine matches.

The Greyhounds, who are 5-4 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 2nd in a non-conference match at Gwynedd-Mercy College at 7:00 p.m.
