MORAVIAN’S SYDNI WISNIEWSKI HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore sprinter Sydni Wisniewski (Orlando, FL/Winter Park HS) of the Moravian College women’s out track & field team has been named the Landmark Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week for her performance last week.

Wisniewski had three runner-up finishes at the non-scoring Muhlenberg College Invitational.  She was second in the 100-meter, 200-meter and 400-meter dashes, and Wisniewski ran the anchor leg of Moravian's winning 4x100-meter relay team.  She had hand times of 12.4 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 27.0 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 1:01.5 in the 400-meter dash.  The Greyhound relay team ran a hand held time of 48.5 seconds.

Moravian will return to action on Saturday, April 10th at the Bucknell University Bison Classic and on Saturday, April 11th at The College of New Jersey Lion Invitational.
