MORAVIAN’S DYANA SWAN HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Senior Dyana Swan (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) of the Moravian College women’s tennis team has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Swan, pictured at right, had a perfect week as the Greyhounds posted a pair of Landmark Conference wins to clinch at least the second seed in the 2009 Landmark Conference Tournament.  Swan won a pair of matches at second singles, needing three sets in a win against The University of Scranton.  She also won two contests at first doubles with partner, freshman Jami Jami Fein (Blue Bell, PA/Wissahickon HS).

Moravian, which is 10-5 on the season and 5-0 in Landmark Conference action, will return to action on Thursday, April 23rd in a non-conference match at Ursinus College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
