THREE GREYHOUNDS, TEAM RANKED IN FINAL NCAA DIVISION III WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Three members of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team and the Greyhound squad are ranked in the final NCAA Division III statistics release of the 2009 season.

Junior goalie Courtney Rosenberg (Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May Regional HS) finished the year 16th in the nation in saves with 191, and Rosenberg, pictured at right, was 22nd in saves per game with 12.0.  She posted 191 saves in 16 matches this season.

Sophomore midfielder Sarah Carman (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge HS) was 15th in the nation with an average of 4.25 ground balls per game.  Carman, pictured at left, had a team high 68 ground balls in 16 matches.

Junior midfielder Katie Wise (Ardsley, PA/Abington HS) finished in a tiefor 47th in nation in ground balls per game with an average of 3.63.  Wise, pictured at bottom right, had 58 ground balls in 16 matches.

Moravian was ranked 35th in nation in ground balls per game at 24.06 with 386 ground balls in 16 matches.

The Greyhounds completed their 2009 season at 6-10 overall and 0-5 in Landmark Conference action.
