MORAVIAN’S BRAD BODINE & LANGSTON ROSS RANKED IN NCAA DIVISION III STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College football team has two players ranked in the fourth NCAA Division III statistical rankings of 2009 through games of September 27th, and the Greyhounds are ranked in the top 50 in one team category.

Senior defensive back Brad Bodine (Mt. Bethel, PA/Bangor HS) is tied for 27th in the nation in interceptions with an average of 0.75 per game.  Bodine, pictured at right, has intercepted three passes with 15 return yards, and he had two interceptions last week versus Johns Hopkins University.

Freshman running back Langston Ross (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS) is 40th in the country in kickoff returns, averaging 27.17 yards per return.  Ross, pictured at left, has returned six kickoffs for 163 yards this season with a long return of 52 yards versus McDaniel College.

Moravian is 35th in the nation in kickoff returns with an average of 23.55 yards per return on 20 kickoff returns this season.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 3rd in a Centennial Conference game versus Dickinson College.  Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field in Bethlehem.
