MORAVIAN’S KING & WACKER NAMED TO CENTENNIAL CONFERENCE WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

LANCASTER, PA --- Freshman kick returner/defensive back Travis King (Wilmington, DE/Concord HS) and sophomore defensive back David Wacker (Parkton, MD/Hereford HS) of the Moravian College football team have been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly Honor Roll for their performances in the Greyhounds’ 21-3 loss to Dickinson College Saturday afternoon.

King, pictured at right, racked up 146 all-purpose yards with two kickoff returns for 82 yards including a season long return of 56 yards and five punt returns for 64 yards with a season long of 29 yards.  King also made three tackles including one for a loss of five yards that forced one of Dickinson’s eight punts in the game.

Wacker, pictured at left, led the Greyhounds’ defense with 12 tackles as Moravian kept the Red Devils, ranked second in the Centennial Conference, 100 yards below their season offense average.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 10th in a Centennial Conference game versus Gettysburg College kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
