MORAVIAN’S ZACH RIVENBARK HONORED AS LANDMARK CONFERENCE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore Zach Rivenbark (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh HS) of the Moravian College men’s cross country team has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for his performance last week.

Rivenbark, the only top Greyhound runner to compete this past weekend, led Moravian to a seventh place finish at the 15-team Pete Nevins Invitational hosted by East Stroudsburg University.  Rivenbark finished in 11th place finish of 118 runners, posting a time of 17:06 on the 5,000-meter course.  The time was the fifth-fastest 5K time by a Landmark Conference runner this season.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 31st at the 2009 Landmark Conference Championships hosted by The Catholic University of America beginning at 11:00 a.m.
