MADISON, NJ --- Sophomore defender Diana Feldmann (York, PA/Central York HS) of the Moravian women’s soccer team was named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team announced Thursday.

Senior midfielder Alessandra Valdetara (Butler, NJ/Butler HS), junior forward/midfielder Emily Rodriguez (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS), junior midfielder/forward Shannon McEvoy (Lafayette, NJ/High Point HS), and freshmen defender Eileen Black (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) have all been named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team.

These five led Moravian to an 8-8-2 record including a 3-2-1 Landmark Conference record.  The Greyhounds competed in the quarterfinal round of the ECAC Division III South Championship Tournament Wednesday and saw the season come to a close with a 3-2 double overtime loss at Stevenson University.

Feldmann, pictured at top right, scored two goals and added two assists for six points from her defensive position, including one game winning goal in Moravian’s 2-1 overtime win over rival Muhlenberg College while starting in all 18 games this year for the Greyhounds.

Valdetara knocked in five goals and four assists for 14 points including one game winning goal in her last year as a Greyhound.  Valdetara, pictured at left, recorded 19 goals and 17 assists, which is tied for fourth in school history, for 55 points, which is sixth in the Moravian record books, in 76 matches with five game winning goals for her career.

McEvoy contributed five goals and five assists for a total of 15 points from the forward and midfield while starting in 15 of the 17 games she has participated in this fall.  McEvoy, pictured at right, has scored ten goals and added ten assists for 30 points in her career at Moravian with one game-winning goal.

Rodriguez , pictured at left, added a team leading seven assists this year, which is tied for the third most in school history for a single season, for the Greyhound while playing in 17 games and starting in all but two of those matches.  Rodriguez has a total of ten career points on a goal and eight assists.

Black recorded two goals and one assist for five points from the back while starting in 17 games in her debut season for Moravian College. Black, pictured at bottom right, did see some action up front when the Greyhounds had several of their top scorers sidelined due to injury.
